TETCO Stores Raise More than $200,000 FOR JDRF
SAN ANTONIO -- TETCO Stores in Utah, as well as San Antonio and Austin, Texas, raised $202,390 in sneaker sales from the 2009 "Walk for the Cure" to benefit Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The funds will be used by the South Central Texas Chapter of JDRF.
"This is a significant contribution from our customers and our company which will be spent on research to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes and its complications," TETCO's CEO Jon Turner said in a released statement.
TETCO is one of San Antonio's five largest privately-held companies and owns and services more than 800 convenience gas stores in seven states.
