Thorntons Offers Fuel Savings for Hometown Tourist Month

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Thorntons Inc. is celebrating Louisville's Hometown Tourist Month by offering a 24-hour fuel discount promotion.

Beginning at 6 a.m. local time this morning, and running through 6 a.m. tomorrow, customers can save 10 cents off per gallon of fuel purchased when using their debit card and entering their four-digit PIN number. The offer is valid at participating Thorntons locations in Louisville and southern Indiana.

"What better way to reward our hometown customers with a little extra relief on fuel during this month focused on celebrating Louisville and the surrounding areas?" asked Jeff Keune, chief marketing officer at Thorntons.

Customers do not need to sign up or register to receive the discount. The savings can be applied to all grades of fuel offered at a particular participating location. During the 24-hour promotion, consumers can receive the 10-cent-per-gallon discount on a maximum of 30 gallons.
