TravelCenters Aims to Deliver Freshest Roast on the Road

WESTLAKE, Ohio – TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Center travel center brands, introduced World Blends Coffee Co., featuring premium whole-bean blends ground on-site just before brewing.

"The coffee in our restaurants and travel stores was good before, but the new fresh ground, whole-bean blends take our quality offering to another level," said John Ponczoch, senior vice president of food marketing and operations for TravelCenters.

World Blends is available exclusively at TA and Petro sites in four varieties:

• House Blend, a rich, robust flavor;
   
• Dark Sky Café Blend, which offers an extra measure of caffeine;
   
• Red Sky, a South American medium-bodied brew; and
   
• High Mountain Arabica, a full-bodied dark roast.

"We understand that customers choose TA and Petro for a wide range of reasons — cleanliness, space to park, food options, a friendly atmosphere, convenience," said TravelCenters President and CEO Tom O'Brien. "The list is as individual as the driver coming in from the highway. So, we strive to have our locations meet as many driver needs and wants as possible, including the freshest roast on the road."

Westlake, Ohio-based TravelCenters operates 247 TA and Petro Stopping Center locations in 42 states and Canada.
