TravelCenters of America Adds Food Options at New Sites

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) is making changes to new locations, including its site in Carl's Corner, Texas, and one in Porter, Ind. The changes bring the first full-menu Dunkin' Donuts to the TA portfolio.

The company recently opened a Subway restaurant in the Porter South TA location in Indiana. The site, located on the south side of Interstate 94, joined the TA system earlier this year. It is an ancillary facility to the Porter TA location across the street, and offers 220 truck parking spaces, diesel fuel, Shell-branded gasoline, a travel store and now, the new Subway restaurant. A shuttle bus runs between the Porter and Porter South locations so drivers can take advantage of the amenities at both sites.

TA also expanded the food offerings at its Petro Stopping Center in Carl's Corner, Texas, by adding its first full-menu Dunkin' Donuts. The Carl's Corner location was acquired by TA earlier this year and opened as a Petro in April. The addition of quick-service food options at this location compliments the full-service Iron Skillet restaurant, which has been serving professional drivers and highway travelers since its opening.

Carl's Corner Petro, located at exit 347 on Interstate 35, is the first site in the TA network to offer Dunkin' Donuts' full menu, including oven-toasted menu items such as breakfast sandwiches, flatbread sandwiches and Wake-Up Wraps.
