TravelCenters of America, McLane Renew Contract

TEMPLE, Texas -- TravelCenters of America (TA) renewed its contract with McLane for supply chain services to its 233 TA and Petro Stopping Center branded travel stores throughout 41 states. The agreement extends a relationship that began in 1999.

"McLane's national reach and supply chain expertise helps us keep our stores fully stocked and provide our customers with the wide variety of quality food, drink and general merchandise items that they are looking for," said Thomas M. O'Brien, CEO, president and managing director for TA. "TA and McLane have been doing business together successfully for 10 years, and we're more than pleased about their abilities and consistent performance."

McLane's 19 facilities will continue to support distribution of a broad line of products for TA. McLane provides TA and Petro's large, well-stocked travel stores with a wide selection of beverages, snacks and travel products. TA and Petro stores offer convenience and variety to their customers with a wide selection of gourmet coffees, cappuccinos and hot chocolates. Customers can also find features such as breakfast sandwiches, pastries and fresh deli sandwiches.

McLane's distribution centers offer efficient operations with seamless delivery and order fulfillment rates. In order to better serve its customers, McLane has invested heavily in its end-to-end grocery supply chain by offering state-of-the-art logistics, data- and analytics-based merchandising services and cost-saving technology applications.
