TravelCenters of America Names New Senior Vice President
WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) recently named John Ponczoch as its senior vice president of food operations and marketing.
In this role, Ponczoch's responsibilities include full charge of all Petro Iron Skillet restaurants, all TA-branded full-service restaurants, as well as the wide range of quick-service restaurants that the company operates, according to a news release.
Ponczoch is a 24-year veteran of Petro Stopping Centers and its Iron Skillet restaurants. He began as a kitchen manager in 1986 and has since served as general manager, field manager and regional director of operations. Before being named to this new position, Ponczoch was a vice president/director of full-service restaurant operations.
"John brings vision and enormous operating experience to our food offer and has been instrumental in making it possible for our Iron Skillet brand to be consistently voted best on the interstate. We are excited to have such an experienced operating executive leading the passion of our 6,400 foodservice employees to bring professional drivers wholesome, comforting foods while they are on the road," stated Barry Richards, executive vice president.
TravelCenters of America, headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, operates locations under the TravelCenters of America and Petro brands in 41 states and Canada.
