TravelCenters of America Renews Deal With Road King Publisher
WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) renewed a publishing contract with Parthenon Publishing, the publisher of trucker publication Road King Magazine.
The award-winning Road King has existed since 1963, and is the second-oldest publication of its type, according to the company.
As part of the agreement, Parthenon will provide TA advertising sales representation in a variety of existing and new media through an entity named TravelCenter Media, which will be present at the retailer's truckstop locations. TravelCenter Media opportunities include Interstate Speedzone's WiFi Web pages, the TA and Petro Internet Web sites, on-site rewards kiosk screens, in-location signs and posters, fuel island pump toppers and restaurant menus, the company stated.
Parthenon will also expand the reach of advertising opportunities, which were formerly limited to TA-branded sites where Road King was distributed. Under the renewed contract, this expands circulation to Petro Stopping Center customers as well. Total circulation is projected by the company to be roughly 300,000.
