TravelCenters of America Teams With Wright Express

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine -- TravelCenters of America (TA) is now accepting Wright Express Universal and Wright Express Heavy Truck cards to pay for fuel and services at all of its 148 travel center locations.

"Accepting Wright Express fleet cards is a natural choice for us as we continue in our efforts to offer the finest full-service facilities to our customers and ensure we are meeting their needs," said Mike Hinderlitter, senior vice president of sales for Westlake, Ohio-based TA.

From its origins in 1972 with six mom-and-pop truckstops, TA is now the nation's largest full-service travel-center network, the company said. It serves more than 24 million meals and sells 1.5 billion gallons of diesel annually.

"Card acceptance at TravelCenters of America locations gives our fleet drivers a whole new level of on-the-road service options to make their jobs easier," said Michael Dubyak, president of South Portland-based Wright Express, a provider of fleet charge cards to the fleet maintenance and fueling industry.
