TravelCenters Completes Acquisitions of 36 Stores

WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America LLC has acquired another 36 convenience stores. The deal brings to completion its previously disclosed acquisitions of c-stores located throughout Missouri and Kansas. 

TravelCenters has begun to operate all of the acquired stores. TravelCenters expects these 36 convenience stores will be rebranded as Minit Mart stores and the sites will undergo improvements in the coming months.

As CSNews Online previously reported, the company entered into agreements to acquire a total of 123 stores for approximately $230 million in six separate transactions.

Westlake-based TravelCenters of America has locations in 43 states and Canada operating under the Minit Mart, TA and Petro Stopping Centers brands. Its business includes 370 c-stores, including 256 which are located at travel centers.
