TravelCenters Expands to 43rd State

MISSOULA, Mont.-- TravelCenters of America LLC expanded its presence, entering its 43rd state with a new location in Montana.

The company's latest move includes the acquisition and rebranding of a new TA travel center in Missoula, Mont., located at Exit 96 off Interstate 90. The opening of this location raises the number of travel centers in the TA and Petro Stopping Centers branded chain to 249.

Amenities at the new, 24/7 TA travel center in Missoula include 250 truck parking spaces; eight diesel lanes; a Travel Store with a quick-service deli; six showers; a casino; and drivers lounge. In addition, this location offers RoadSquad Connect emergency roadside service, available every day of the year, as well as an UltraONE Rewards Program kiosk and swiping system.

The Missoula TA also features a variety of full-service professional driver amenities, including Wi-Fi, an ATM, check cashing and TripPak services. Gasoline is offered at eight fueling positions, and the location has an RV dump station.

According to the company, the restaurant at this location will be closed upon the site's opening, but is expected to undergo extensive remodeling to become a sit-down Country Pride restaurant. A four-bay TA Truck Service facility is also expected to be added in the future.

"We are happy to add this location, and to expand the reach of our network into Montana to provide professional drivers and highway travelers on I-90 with another full-service travel center," said Tom O'Brien, president and CEO of TravelCenters.

"TA Missoula is a vast location, containing 250 truck parking spaces and situated on nearly 30 acres. The location provides drivers with ample parking, and space enough to maneuver and make themselves at home. The casino also provides drivers a chance to relax and unwind after a long day on the road," he added. "We will continue to look for ways to add new amenities and locations to show drivers our respect."

TravelCenters of America, headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, operates the TA and Petro Stopping Center travel center brands in the United States and Canada. TravelCenters also operates gasoline/convenience stores in Kentucky and Tennessee under the Minit Mart banner.
