TravelCenters Retools Truck Service Offering

WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands, is unifying its maintenance operations under a single umbrella.

TA Truck Service, Petro:Lube, RoadSquad, RoadSquad Connect, RoadSquad OnSite and eShop will now operate under the single brand umbrella of TA Truck Service.

Both TA and Petro locations will offer TA Truck Service, which will also feature more service bays, more technical expertise and more maintenance solutions, the company announced at the Mid-America Trucking Show, which took place March 31-April 2 in Louisville, Ky.

"TA Truck Service is more than just a new brand name. Our goal is to keep our drivers rolling," stated Tom O'Brien, president and CEO of TravelCenters. "The brand incorporates the best practices of the top truck repair brands in the industry, including state-of-the-art technical training; quality control programs utilizing Six Sigma processes; an expanding scope of services; Freightliner and Western Star warranty determinations; nationwide parts and service warranty; plus more efficient work order queuing for less complex repairs, we call Rapid Repair.

"TA Truck Service is the one coast-to-coast provider drivers can trust wherever and whenever they need service," he continued. 

The staff of TA Truck Service includes the most highly-trained and certified technicians, TravelCenters noted. State-of-the-art classroom training, extensive Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) training and Tire Industry Association certification, plus Mentor Technicians and an ASE Master Technician hotline provide around-the-clock support for hard-to-diagnose service issues.

Westlake-based TravelCenters of America LLC operates under the TravelCenters of America, TA, Petro Stopping Centers and Petro brand names in 43 states, as well as the Minit Mart convenience store brand name in 11 states.
