Tri-State Petroleum Signs Supply Agreement With Marathon

WHEELING, W. Va. -- Tri-State Petroleum Corp. has formed a branding relationship with Marathon Petroleum Corp. (MPC). Under the agreement, MPC will supply branded fuel to all of Tri-State Petroleum's convenience stores across Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

"At Tri-State Petroleum, we have always valued the strong relationships we've forged with vendors, suppliers and other business partners," said Colleen C. McGlinn, CEO of Tri-State Petroleum. "That's why we're so pleased to announce a new brand relationship with Marathon Petroleum. Partnering with MPC will enable us to offer many benefits to our customers, including quality fuel, competitive fuel prices and new customer loyalty programs."

Tri-State Petroleum customers will begin seeing MPC's name and logo on canopies and street signs within the coming weeks and months, Tri-State Petroleum added in a release.

"This new partnership with [MPC] is just one of many positive changes on the horizon for Tri-State Petroleum this year that will enhance our brand and our customers' experience," McGlinn added.

Tri-State Petroleum is a family-owned convenience store operator and wholesale distributor of motor fuels in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. MPC is the nation's fifth-largest refiner. Marathon brand gasoline is sold through more than 5,000 independently owned retail outlets across 18 states.

In addition, Speedway LLC, an MPC subsidiary, owns and operates approximately 1,370 convenience stores in seven states.
