Tri-State Petroleum Spreads the Christmas Cheer

WHEELING, W.Va. -- Tri-State Petroleum Corp. spread the Christmas cheer this season by raffling off a giant prize for a few lucky customers. This was the second year that the company offered its holiday stocking raffle as a way of showing appreciation for its customers during the holiday season and all year round, the company stated. Winners were selected on Dec. 20.

Customers needed to simply fill out an entry form to win the prize, -- a 6-foot-tall Christmas stocking filled with games, toys, puzzles and other gifts. Tri-State's 30 locations, 25 stores and five dealer locations throughout the tri-state region, participated in the raffle. No purchase was necessary to enter the drawing.

"We wanted to offer our customers a fun contest to help celebrate this holiday season," Sam Covelli, director of retail operations for Tri-State Petroleum said in a released statement. "A giant holiday stocking filled to the brim with fun toys, treats and surprises seemed like the perfect gift to help make the winners' holidays that much more special."

Tri-State Petroleum's stores operate under a host of petroleum brands including BP, Exxon and Mobil. The family-owned c-store operator and wholesale distributor of motor fuels operates in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
