Turkey Hill Offers Fuel Savings for Food Donations

LANCASTER, Pa. — Turkey Hill Minit Markets is supporting the fight against hunger in central Pennsylvania by enabling customers to earn fuel savings through the purchase of non-perishable items. They can then donate those products inside stores as part of this year's Fall/Winter Food Drive.

The food drive works in tandem with the Turkey Hill Rewards Card. When customers purchase designated points-eligible, non-perishable items to place in the special donation boxes, they can have a store associate scan their card to earn points for savings at Turkey Hill fuel pumps.

Donation boxes will be periodically picked up for delivery to the local Rescue Mission in the area served by the store, the retailer said.

"We're pleased to offer our customers such a win-win deal with this year's Food Drive," said Turkey Hill Public Relations Manager Kim Hertzog. "You can do a good deed to help stop hunger, and get rewarded with fuel savings at Turkey Hill."

Stores will also announce certain items providing special Rewards Bonus Points when purchased for donation. All Campbell's Soups are designated as Bonus Points items in November.

The food drive runs through Dec. 20 at Turkey Hill stores in Pennsylvania's Lancaster, Lebanon, York, Dauphin and Cumberland counties.

Turkey Hill Minit Markets has more than 260 stores in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana.
