Turkey Hill Signs Three-Year Deal With Core-Mark

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Turkey Hill, a subsidiary of The Kroger Co., signed a three-year distribution agreement with Core-Mark Holding Co. Inc., one of the largest marketers of fresh and broad-line supply solutions to the North American convenience retail industry.

Turkey Hill, the largest of Kroger's convenience store divisions, operates 268 c-stores across Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana, including a new flagship store Turkey Hill Market in Marysville, Ohio, which was recently featured as the "Store of the Month" in Convenience Store News.

"Kroger is an industry leader in our channel and we have enjoyed a longstanding partnership with their organization, as we currently service more than 400 of their convenience locations," stated Core-Mark CEO Tom Perkins. "The addition of Turkey Hill represents a further strengthening of our commitment to support The Kroger Convenience Division's initiatives and leverage both our companies' resources to reach higher levels of performance."

Turkey Hill is headquartered in Lancaster, Pa., and is a sister company of Turkey Hill Dairy, a dairy processor that is a major producer of milk, iced tea and ice cream. Both Turkey Hill convenience stores and Turkey Hill Dairy are owned by Kroger.

Core-Mark, based in South San Francisco, Calif., offers a full range of products, marketing programs and technology solutions to approximately 30,000 customer locations in the United States and Canada. Through 28 distribution centers, Core-Mark services traditional convenience retailers, grocers, drug, liquor and specialty stores, and other stores that carry convenience products.
