United Express Expands Kiosks to Offer Walk-In Convenience
LUBBOCK, Texas -- United Supermarkets LLC is expanding two of its existing United Express kiosks in Levelland and Muleshoe, Texas, to walk-in convenience fuel stations.
The projects are part of a multi-year effort to expand the company's convenience offering at existing United Express fuel stations, as CSNews Online previously reported.
Each project will expand the existing fuel station to approximately 370 square feet. The renovations are scheduled to be completed before Memorial Day, according to Tandy Arrant, United Supermarkets' convenience business manager.
“We believe our Levelland and Muleshoe guests will truly enjoy the added convenience that this project will bring to our fuel stores,” Arrant stated.
Customers will be able to purchase a wide variety of convenience items including freshly brewed coffee, iced tea, breakfast burritos, milk, bottled water, canned and bottled soda, candy, gum and an assortment of other grab-and-go snacks, the retailer noted.
The stores will operate from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at both fuel stations.
United Express also operates five freestanding, full-service convenience stores, with two other locations currently under construction in Borger and Dumas, Texas. Future locations have already been planned for Amarillo and Hereford, Texas.
United Supermarkets LLC is a Texas-based, family-owned chain that operates 51 stores under the United Supermarkets, United Express, Market Street and Amigos United banners in 30 markets across north and west Texas.
