USA Today Travel Zone Opens in LaGuardia
MCLEAN, Va. -- Under a licensing agreement with HDS Retail, USA Today, the nation's top-selling newspaper, opened a USA Today Travel Zone in the US Airways terminal at LaGuardia Airport.
Three other USA Today Travel Zone stores were opened in September in the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, according to the company. In addition, two stores are expected to open in the Indianapolis International Airport in November.
The USA Today Travel Zone is a full-service store that carries products geared toward travelers, including reading materials, sundries, travel accessories and other convenience items. USA Today Travel Zone stores were developed and are operated by HDS Retail, a travel retailer with more than 4,000 stores in 18 countries, according to the company.
USA Today Travel Zone stores feature colors representing the newspaper's signature sections: News (blue), Money (green), Sports (red) and Life (purple).
