Valero Energy Secured $23 Million Defense Contract
SAN ANTONIO -- Valero Energy Corp. won a $23.3 million contract from the Department of Defense to supply automotive gasoline to foreign military clients, the San Antonio Business Journal reported.
As part of the contract, Valero will supply fuel as part of an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity arrangement. The fuel supply contract will expire on Oct. 31, 2008, the report stated.
The Defense Energy Supply Center at Fort Belvoir, Va., awarded the contract.
