VERC Adds 23rd Store

BOSTON -- VERC Enterprises, an independent convenience store and gasoline operator with locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, added its 23rd site, located in Marlboro, Mass., according to a report on dbusinessnews.com.

The new VERC Gulf, located on Route 20 immediately off of Interstate 495, is a former Gulf station. The site includes a full convenience store with full-service Dunkin Donuts counter.

Marlboro resident Steve Vieira, who has seven years of experience in the gas/c-store industry, was named manager of the new location.

"As a Marlboro resident, this is a great way for me to have an expanded role in the community," said Vieira, noting the store will undergo remodeling to further enhance its appeal and convenience to customers.

"Marlboro is such a vital community and one we are delighted to now have a strong presence in," said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises. "We look forward to providing superior service to the residents of Marlboro and surrounding communities."

VERC has acquired and renovated a number of sites throughout the area. Vercollone projects continued growth. The company has more than 175 employees and is actively recruiting new associates and assistant managers.
