VIDEO: BP Launches TV Spot to Promote New Loyalty Program

CHICAGO -- To keep the momentum going around the launch of its new fuel loyalty program, BP is debuting its first television advertisement promoting BP Driver Rewards. The spot, entitled "I Drive," begins airing tomorrow.

Developed by Ogilvy & Mather Chicago, the creative agency for BP, the 30-second ad recognizes the common bond of all types of drivers and highlights their ability to benefit from BP Driver Rewards.

The loyalty program, which launched three weeks ago, enables consumers throughout the brand's retail footprint to earn rewards and redeem them directly at the fueling station without having to make additional purchases from other retailers. Customers who sign up for the program can earn 5 cents off per gallon for every 20 gallons purchased over at least two fill-ups. Rewards accumulate automatically and may be redeemed as soon as one hour after they are earned.

The "I Drive" spot will air through Sept. 20 and appear during several primetime programs.
