VIDEO: Loyalty Programs Boost Sales for Quality State Oil
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- Quality State Oil Co., a CITGO marketer, has had such great success with its own loyalty program that it recently developed a loyalty program for its dealers.
The Sheboygan, Wis.-based company, which operates 18 Q Mart stores, has grown its business dramatically over the past seven years thanks to the success of its Q Mart Rewards program. The program has attracted more than 90,000 members, with more than 75 "club" levels for customers to reach -- no more punch cards required, according to Quality State executives.
Houston-based CITGO Petroleum Corp. also helps fund a sweepstakes program that has given away $100,000 to date in random rewards to loyal customers who participate in the Q Mart Rewards program.
Having seen its own program result in repeat business from a growing customer base, Quality State launched a new consumer-based loyalty program called Badger Rewards for its dealers three months ago. Since its inception, the number of new members has grown significantly each month to a current total of more than 2,000.
Thus far, Badger Rewards has been launched in seven dealer stores with the help of CITGO, loyalty consulting and management company Exclusive Connection$, as well as loyalty solutions provider Outsite Networks. More stores will be rolled out in the coming months.
