VP Racing Fuels Revs Up Partnerships

ELMENDORF, Texas  —  VP Racing Fuels Inc. inked three new partnerships.

Its first deal, struck with Road Atlanta, involves a multi-year partnership that will see a strong VP presence as the new official fuel of the historic road racing circuit in Braselton, Ga.

As the official fuel of Road Atlanta, the track’s fuel station and gas pumps located in the north paddock will be outfitted with new VP Racing Fuels branding and will dispense VP’s C9, VP110 and C12 race fuel blends. These fuels will be accessible year-long to the many competitors and car clubs that visit Road Atlanta.

"Road Atlanta is one of the world’s best road courses, so we welcomed the opportunity to partner with them as the track’s official fuel,” said Alan Cerwick, president of VP Racing Fuels. “With a multi-purpose motor sports facility, Road Atlanta provides a perfect platform for VP to promote its race fuel products along with our growing roster of consumer products and the retail VP-branded gas stations that are sprouting up along the I-75 corridor and elsewhere."

VP Racing also reached an agreement to be the official fuel for the 2015 TORC: The Off-Road Championship Presented by AMSOIL. TORC competitors will be powered by VP’s high-performance racing fuels beginning with the April 24-25 season opener at Texas Motor Speedway near Dallas. The series consists of eight events that run through Sept. 6.

“After a successful inaugural season last year, we’re excited to extend our partnership with TORC and work with BJ Birtwell to continue executing his vision and growing the series,” said Chris Wall, VP’s chief marketing officer. “The TORC series provides a unique opportunity to build awareness for VP Racing Fuels and our growing roster of consumer products, as well as the VP-branded gas stations that are part of our retail branding initiative."

VP Racing’s third agreement is a multi-year partnership with Sebring International Raceway. As part of its agreement with VP, Sebring will have VP’s Motorsport 93, C9, VP110 and C12 racing fuels available onsite year-round, with equipment, logistics and service provided by VP Southeast in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Sebring’s fuel station canopy and pumps will carry the VP brand, and illuminated VP Racing Fuels signs will mark the entrance and exit of pit row.

As part of its retail branding program, gas stations and convenience stores across the U.S. are being branded as VP Racing Fuels, with each providing distribution for Elmendorf-based VP’s other product lines.
