Western Refining Wholesale Chooses Pricing Intelligence Solution for Fuel

EL PASO, Texas -- Western Refining Wholesale, a division of Western Refining Inc., an independent refining and marketing company headquartered in El Paso, Texas, will use KSS Fuels’ RackPrice wholesale pricing solution to help it manage fuel prices at its wholesale locations, the company reported.

Western Refining is a crude oil refiner, wholesale fuel and lubricants distributor and retailer with operations in the Western United States and Virginia. The retail division is a long-time KSS Fuels customer, using PriceNet to help it manage pricing at retail service stations and convenience stores in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.

"In a highly volatile economic environment, it is a necessity to have an effective and efficient pricing strategy in place." Kevin Goode, vice president of Western Refining Wholesale said in a released statement. "It is critical for us to have a flexible, efficient and responsive pricing process that enables us to analyze situations quickly and react accordingly."

RackPrice is an end-to-end wholesale pricing solution and includes modules for price generation automation, reporting/analysis, competitive price prediction, price-volume modelling and price optimization. The system will help Western Refining improve its pricing processes and respond rapidly to market events, the vendor reported.
