Wilson Farms to Give Away Coffee on Sept. 11

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Wilson Farms Neighborhood Food Stores will give away free coffee from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11. Additionally, in remembrance of the eighth anniversary of 9/11, the convenience store operator, based here, will be collecting donations for Operation Homefront, which provides emergency assistance and support for U.S. troops and their families.

"Stop into any of our 190 locations Friday morning and fill up a 12-ounce cup of your favorite coffee or cappuccino for free," Paul Nanula, CEO and president of Wilson Farms, said in a statement. "This is our way of showing our appreciation to customers who have continuously supported Wilson Farms throughout the years. Without them, we would not be where we are today."

All donations collected by the convenience store chain Friday will be given to soldiers and their families in communities through the New York Chapter of Operation Homefront, Nanula added. Wilson Farms will match donations collected up to $5,000. Donations will be collected through the entire day.

Wilson Farms, established in 1969, operates 190 convenience store and gas station locations across New York State. Wilson Farms stores offer farm-fresh produce, meal solutions, freshly made sandwiches, gourmet coffee and a wide selection of other beverages, along with a line of grocery, frozen and dairy products.
