Wilson Farms Launches Football Sweepstakes

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- As a new National Football League (NFL) season kicks off, Wilson Farms is joining the fun by launching its Fall Football Sweepstakes.
"This is not the first year for a sweepstakes of this kind," company spokeswoman Kimberly Tylec told CSNews Online. "Wilson Farms periodically runs ‘enter-to-win’ contests as a way to give back to our customers. The ultimate goal for a contest like this is to drive foot traffic to the stores and give our customers something fun and exciting to participate in."
By visiting a Wilson Farms, Sugarcreek or Wilson Farms Express store, customers will have a chance to win a 42-inch plasma television, Guitar Hero, Kingsford Go-Kart, MP3 Player, Xbox 360 and a 24-pack of Shark Energy Drinks.
"Our customers have always shown a great response to contests similar to the Fall Football Sweepstakes, especially when the prizes are as great as these," Tylec told CSNews Online.
When asked if a particular team is favored, Tylec responded: "In general, it is simply for football season. However, the majority of our 194 stores are located in the Western New York area and many of our customers are loyal fans to the local NFL team, the Buffalo Bills. But we do encourage fans of all football teams on all levels to participate in this Fall Football Sweepstakes and win some great prizes."
Customers can visit any one of the 194 convenience store and gas station locations to obtain a special promotional code located on the register receipt or in-store promotional signs. The codes can be entered by visiting www.wilsonfarms.com
The deadline is Thursday, Oct. 16. Winners will be announced on Oct. 24.
