Worsley In Control
WILMINGTON, N.C.
Worsley Companies, Inc. which manages more than 150 Scotchman convenience stores in the southeast, has chosen Intelligent Controls Inc. (INCON), a manufacturer of software and electronic measurement systems, as its sole supplier of fuel management systems.
Worsley selected Saco, Maine-based INCON because it offered the best combination of features and price, said Don Quinn, Worsley's environmental manager, "The benefits of our INCON installations include elimination of human error in fuel measurements, better inventory control, a deterrent to theft, more efficient scheduling of fuel deliveries, automatic alarms in case of leaks or other discrepancies, and an easing of the regulatory burden," he said. "I would highly recommend that other convenience store and petroleum operators get INCON systems."
INCON is a supplier of software, fuel management systems (FMS) and line leak detection equipment for the petroleum industry. Worsley is expected to use these services to aggressively manage fuel inventories and realize significant financial benefits, especially during times of price volatility, said Kevin DeVinney, INCON's director of sales.
