NEWARK, N.J. — Frank White, director of foodservice for Yesway, has joined Convenience Store News’ Editorial Advisory Board, as well as its Foodservice Advisory Council.
The Editorial Advisory Board is an elite group of convenience store industry retailers and wholesalers who meet regularly to discuss industry issues and help guide the overall content strategy of Convenience Store News, the c-store industry's premier media brand.
The Foodservice Advisory Council is a panel of foodservice category experts from the retailer, supplier, wholesaler, research and consulting fields. These panelists bring multiple years of experience in both convenience store foodservice and the restaurant industry.
At Yesway, a West Des Moines, Iowa-based convenience store chain that's rapidly expanding its presence throughout the United States, White is primarily responsible for developing pricing and merchandising strategies, tactics and financial forecasts for the retailer's foodservice, hot and cold dispensed beverage, and produce categories.
Yesway currently operates stores in Iowa, Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota and New Mexico.
Prior to joining Yesway, White was a category manager for Family Express Corp., where he managed the cold, frozen and hot dispensed beverage categories.
Before that, he served as director of retail operations for Tristate Petroleum Corp., where he led marketing and operations functions for a 48-store chain.
White is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology in New York and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
