7-Eleven Slashes Prices on Gaming Inventory

8/31/2009
DALLAS -- With video game prices being slashed up to 50 percent at many 7-Eleven convenience stores, a report on Kombo.com speculated that perhaps the c-store chain was getting out of the gaming business. But not so, according to 7-Eleven.

"It’s very simple," Margaret Chabris, public relations director, told CSNews Online. "We are reducing the price of some older games so we can make space for all the new titles coming in for the holidays."

Among those titles being reduced are: Fallout 3, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Gears of War 2, WWE and Quantum of Solace, Kombo.com reported.
