7-Eleven Teams with FuelQuest and PDI

HOUSTON -- 7-Eleven Inc. has selected and licensed the FuelQuest Fuel Management System (FMS) for its locations that sell gasoline.

The selection includes the entire FMS suite of solutions for fuel management, giving 7-Eleven greater ability to remotely monitor tank inventories; forecast fuel replenishment; manage fuel-supplier contracts; perform best-buy, fuel-pricing analysis; ensure environmental compliance; and dispatch and receive fuel deliveries. The new system will provide 7-Eleven with environmental management advancements as well as flexibility in the management of fuel need forecasting, purchasing and transportation.

Along with FuelQuest's FMS system, 7-Eleven selected Professional Datasolution's PDI/Enterprise fuel-accounting system as an integrated component of its overall gasoline inventory accounting and management system. This fuel-accounting system aims to provide the entire FMS system with an efficient, industry-standard method for more flexible fuel-purchasing decisions.

"We understand our customers' need for the highest quality of service, product accessibility and value," said Ron Williams, gasoline product manager for 7-Eleven. "The FuelQuest management system will enhance our abilities to more precisely forecast demand, maintain our gasoline supply and manage inventory. We place a premium on companies that provide superior customer service and industry-leading technology, and believe selecting FuelQuest will benefit 7-Eleven and our customers."
