Consumers who purchase foodservice items at convenience stores — including prepared food and hot and cold dispensed beverages — upped their visits this year compared to 2014. This is good news for retailers and suppliers who have new products on the market. In a consumer survey looking to gather insights on new products, Carbonview Research, a sister company of Convenience Store News, found that consumers who purchase prepared food scored highest when it comes to willingness to try new items.
