Aloha Petroleum Collecting Donations for Ronald McDonald House

HONOLULU -- Aloha Petroleum Ltd., one of Hawaii's largest gasoline marketers and convenience store operators, will be collecting cash donations at its 30 Aloha Island Mart locations on Oahu and the Big Island to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities efforts to provide a "home-away-from-home" for seriously ill children and their families, the organization announced.
"Ronald McDonald House Charities fills such an important need in our community by offering families with ill children a comforting place to stay. We're pleased to support RMHC Hawaii and know that our customers will be too," Richard Parry, Aloha Petroleum president and CEO, said in a released statement.

The specially marked Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii collection canisters are located at Aloha Island Mart checkout counters and will be in place through May 31.

The funds collected by Aloha Petroleum will help RMHC Hawaii provide crucial assistance to families who must travel to Oahu for their children's medical treatments.
