Alon Expands Fuel Pact With GreenPrint
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — ALON expanded the Strive Reduced Emissions Fuel Program to an additional 14 company-operated 7-Eleven convenience stores here.
The additional sites more than double the availability of the program, which is now offered at 312 pumps.
GreenPrint LLC’s Strive Reduced Emissions Fuel Program is intended to reduce consumers’ tailpipe emissions via its proprietary platform and investments in local, regional and global certified carbon-reduction projects to sequester carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.
According to GreenPrint, the reduced emissions gasoline program requires no new software, hardware, new tanks or equipment, unlike alternative fuels.
“As we continue the growth of the ALON footprint in Albuquerque, we’re thrilled to see the positive impact that Strive Fuel is bringing to the community and to our stations,” said Jonathan Ketchum, senior vice president of Southwest Convenience Stores/ALON.
Dallas-based ALON is a division of Alon USA Energy Inc. It markets ALON motor fuel products at more than 800 locations and is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in North America.
Atlanta-based GreenPrint LLC is an innovator of carbon-neutral fuel solutions.
