Another Grand Opening for Sheetz
York, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. celebrated the grand opening of the company’s newest concept store in York, Pa., on Nov. 3.
The chain’s 65 local employees hosted a dignitary reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony. As part of the grand opening, the company made a $2,500 donation to Dallastown Area High School Student Council.
At nearly 6,000 square feet, the new Sheetz location offers customers a restaurant-style atmosphere. The store also features a new menu including cold and toasted subs, paninis, hand-tossed salads and brick-oven pizza.
A Kidz menu was also added, along with the Sheetz Bros. Coffeez Espresso Bar staffed by a professional barista to custom blend coffees. Convenience items such as a self-serve bakery, bulk candy and peanut dispensers, cold grab-and-go case, and self-serve milk shakes have also been included.
Sheetz operates more than 300 stores with more than 10,000 employees across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina.
