Associations

The National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) named John Hervey chief technology officer. In this newly created position, Hervey will lead the associations technology efforts for the convenience store industry including standards, new technologies, e-commerce initiatives, and content for NACS' technology-related educational programming, particularly for the technology-focused nacs.tech conference.



Roy Davis Jr., current president and CEO of Concord, N.C.-based S&D Coffee, will become Chairman-Emeritus. Ron Hinson will take over as president and CEO.

Almonina Biscuits, headquartered in Maumee, Ohio added Michael S. Katz to its team of executive directors.

Cadillac Coffee Co. named Mark Allan Skibowski vice president of operations. It also promoted Sam Iaquinta to district sales manager in its southeast Michigan branch.

Greensboro, N.C.,-based Lorillard Tobacco Co. promoted Curtis Hill to regional sales manager in Sacramento, Calif.

Milwaukee-based Johnson Controls Inc., a supplier of automotive systems, seating and batteries, has named Mark M. Duszynski to the newly created position of vice president of the retail market segment for its Controls business.
