Beck's Adopts Multi-Platform Marketing Solution

PRINCETON, Ill. — Beck Oil Co. launched a new mobile app and website with help from OpenStore by GasBuddy.

"We have recognized for years there was a need to update our website and incorporate mobile and social communication with our customers. Upon evaluating our options, it was apparent that OpenStore was the partner we needed to deliver the best end product," said Bill Beck of Beck Oil.

The retailer's director of marketing, Heather Smith, worked with Chris Bodas and the OpenStore loyalty team to develop the solution.

"We are very excited about our new social, web and mobile applications, and look forward to our journey with these evolving, dynamic mediums," Bill Beck added.

OpenStore is a digital marketing solution to help convenience store owners and managers concentrate on reaching and rewarding their customers, without having to build and maintain information technology systems. With OpenStore, Beck Oil now has the ability to reach customers through a branded mobile app, individual store web pages, mobile coupons, and social media including Facebook and Twitter.

"We help our clients identify new opportunities, make choices between those opportunities and optimize their customer experiences to attain and sustain market leadership," said Jason Toews, co-founder and CEO of OpenStore. "OpenStore is a complete turnkey social technology solution that will support Beck's strategies to reach their customers with targeted marketing and powerful messaging."

Princeton-based Beck Oil Co. owns and operates 18 Beck's convenience stores in Illinois and Iowa.
