Buchanan Energy Adds inOvationTV at Bucky's

CHICAGO -- The inOvationTV media program is making major inroads in Chicago with its latest deal.

Under the agreement, Buchanan Energy Co. will install Wayne Ovation fuel dispensers -- equipped with the inOvationTV media platform -- at more than 35 of its company-owned Bucky's Convenience Stores in the metropolitan area.

"We are first and foremost in the customer service business," said Steve Buchanan, president, Buchanan Energy. "We really like the fact that the inOvationTV media program will improve the fueling experience for our customers and help improve consumer loyalty and traffic at our stores."

The inOvationTV media program is offered jointly by Wayne, A GE Business, and Gas Station TV (GSTV). It features exclusive programming provided by GSTV.

"Chicagoland is obviously a significant and important region," said David Leider, CEO, GSTV. "We're very pleased that Buchanan has afforded us the opportunity to significantly increase our presence in the greater Chicago metropolitan area, and enhance the forecourt dynamic for Buchanan and their customers."

The agreement also represents a significant commitment on the part of Buchanan Energy and Bucky's to upgrade their forecourts with new dispensers, according to a release on the deal.

"We're excited that they've chosen our Ovation dispensers and the inOvationTV media platform as an integral part of their ongoing image enhancement efforts."

Buchanan Energy is a family-owned and -operated chain of 200 convenience stores and gas stations in the Midwest. The company is headquartered in Omaha, Neb., the site of its first c-store. In addition to the c-stores and fueling locations, the company has a wholesale fuel supply and transport division.
