C-Stores 'Burned' by Wildfires
In the Tri-Cities area, Aztex has sold four stations to Mountain Empire Oil. The company has a purchase agreement for the sale of its nine Nashville stores and two pieces of vacant property there to Parman Oil Co.
Pilot Corp. will change the names of the five stations it has acquired to Pilot, as well as begin construction on a new store on the acquired vacant lot, which will be open for business in April 2001. This will bring the number of c-stores Pilot operates in the Knoxville area to 25.
