Casey's General Stores Launches Military Support Campaign
ANKENY, Iowa — Throughout the month of April, Casey's General Stores Inc. is supporting members of the military and their families via its "Dog Tag" promotion, which seeks to raise funds and awareness for Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, the family unit and hope to service members.
During the promotion, Casey's customers are invited to support Hope For The Warriors by purchasing a "Dog Tag" for just $1 each. Casey's will display the purchased tags throughout its stores, giving customers the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment and support for service members. "Dog Tags" will be available at more than 1,800 Casey's stores.
"Casey's General Store employees are eager to continue supporting Hope For The Warriors and the service members they support," stated Casey's Chairman and CEO Bob Myers. "Through our April promotion, we are proud to provide the opportunity for our customers to join us in saying 'thank you' to these brave men and women."
This is the fourth year that Casey's has supported Hope For The Warriors and the second year of its "Dog Tag" promotion. With the help of Casey's customers, more than $1.5 million has been donated to Hope For The Warriors in the past three years, according to the announcement.
"On behalf of Hope For The Warriors, I thank every single customer and employee of Casey's who has made a commitment to restoring our military families," said Hope For The Warriors President Robin Kelleher. "It was an incredible feeling to walk into so many Casey's stores and witness the support and love for our service members firsthand."
