Chester's Opens Several New Sites, Remodels Others
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Chester's is on a roll with new store openings and several revamps of existing locations across the country.
In Mississippi, Lipscomb Oil Co. opened three Chester's locations within its The Filling Station convenience stores in Pickens, Webb and Tchula, Miss. Lipscomb Oil has partnered with Chester's for more than 14 years and now operates five Chester's locations in Arkansas and Mississippi.
In South Dakota, Chester's teamed up with Ken's Food Fair & Shell Express to debut new locations in Groton and Ipswich, S.D. Opening the fried chicken restaurants after their deli renovations this fall, Ken's Food Fair & Shell Express now operates a total of four Chester's locations.
In Iowa, Sparky's One Stop recently opened another Chester's restaurant in Churdan. The quick-serve program now has a presence in 13 Sparky's One Stops.
In Arkansas, Chester's continues to open new locations with Double Bee's. This past fall, the convenience store chain added two more Chester's in Newport and Quitman, Ark. The two companies have partnered for more than a decade, with Double Bee's currently operating five Chester's restaurants in the state.
In addition to new store openings, Chester's has also unveiled several remodeled locations with its convenience store partners. All three of Last Minit Mart's locations in the greater Pittsburgh area -- Jamestown, New Wilmington and New Castle -- recently unveiled remodeled restaurants. Last Minit Mart has partnered with Chester's since 1999.
Two newly revamped locations also debuted at Flash Market Inc. sites off Interstate 540 in Arkansas. Flash Market has been a Chester's partner for 10 years, operating seven Arkansas locations.
Chester's menu features bone-in, tenders and boneless fried chicken, as well as signature side items including potato wedges, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and potato and macaroni salad. The quick-serve chain has more than 2,000 Chester Fried licensed and Chester's franchised locations.
