Chester's, Village Pantry Team Up for New Locations
FISHERS, Ind. -- Days after opening a new location at a Village Pantry c-store in Indianapolis, Chester's International recently opened its newest location at a Village Pantry convenience store here.
"Chester's is a great opportunity for Village Pantry to help grow its strong foodservice programs with the highest quality fried chicken and side dishes to compliment our fresh-made daily sandwiches and doughnuts," Chad Prast, vice president of marketing for Village Pantry, said in a statement. "We are already seeing greater than expected results from our first Chester's location and look forward to the same in many more locations soon."
The Fishers, Ind. location officially celebrated the grand opening of Chester's on Friday, July 25. The ribbon cutting ceremony was complete with an appearance by Chester the Chicken, who took pictures with customers and employees.
Richard Davis, vice president of systems management at Chester's International, explained the Village Pantry location will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering Chester's signature menu options, including Chester's fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits. The newest Chester's will also offer both dine-in and carry-out options, he noted.
