Chevron & Albertsons Bring Fuel Rewards to Dallas Area
FORTH WORTH, Texas — Chevron Products Co., a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc., and Albertsons Cos. LLC are bringing their Gas Rewards program to the Dallas-Forth Worth region.
Customers can shop at their local Albertsons and Tom Thumb stores in the Metroplex to earn Reward Points that they can use to receive up to 20 cents off per gallon at participating Chevron and Texaco branded locations.
This expansion of the Gas Rewards program will help to maximize value and savings for Albertsons and Tom Thumb shoppers along with Chevron and Texaco customers through the combination of quality, convenience and rewards, the companies said.
"We're excited to extend our partnership with Chevron in north Texas to give shoppers the essentials that they have come to expect: savings and convenience," stated Dennis Bassler, president of Albertsons Cos.' southern division. "This program extends the shopping experience because it benefits our customers after they leave our stores and gives them a great reason to keep coming back."
Albertsons customers can register for the program online at Albertsons.com/rewards or by downloading the "just for U" app on their Android or iOS device, while Tom Thumb customers can simply use their Tom Thumb Rewards Card or phone number when shopping to earn Reward Points. New Tom Thumb customers can also download the Tom Thumb app or register online at TomThumb.com.
In the Gas Rewards program, for every 100 Reward Points they earn by shopping at participating area Albertsons and Tom Thumb stores, customers will receive a 10 cents-per-gallon Gas Reward. Reward Points can be earned in these ways:
- Customers receive one point per $1 spent on eligible grocery purchases.
- Customers receive two points per $1 spent on qualifying gift cards.
- Customers receive one point for every out-of-pocket cost dollar spent on pharmacy, including co-pays.
Customers redeem their Gas Rewards by simply entering their registered phone number at the pump or inside the station before fueling.
