Chevron ExtraMile Teams with Disney to Support Retailers


SAN RAMON, Calif. -- Chevron ExtraMile unveiled its new Take Off to Adventure game with Disney celebrating the re-launch of the Star Tours attraction at Disneyland Park.

Running May 1 to June 30, every person who visits a participating ExtraMile location in California, Oregon and Washington can request a game card with two chances to win thousands of instant prizes.

Consumers visiting ExtraMile stores who play the Take Off to Adventure game can win instantly in the store, by peeling back the label to reveal whether they have won $2 ExtraMile Bucks for use in any ExtraMile retail location. They can also win online, with a unique code found on the game card to be entered at for a chance at 12 grand prizes consisting of a Disneyland Resort vacation with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the new Star Tours attraction, or one of hundreds of first prizes, Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Tickets.

"The Take Off to Adventure game is an opportunity for ExtraMile to support our retailers, attract new customers and kick off the summer travel season at our locations across the West Coast," said Jeanine Rogers, ExtraMile brand manager. The re-launch of the Star Tours attraction at Disneyland Park will feature an enhanced ride system, which is filmed and presented in 3-D, new destinations, and new and original characters from the beloved Star Wars film series.

The promotion is exclusive to ExtraMile sites only. There is no purchase necessary; consumers can simply visit one of ExtraMile's 500-plus retail locations to pick up a game card for a chance to play. The Take Off to Adventure game website is also optimized for mobile devices, so participants can play the game directly on their smartphones.
