Circle K Drinking It In
PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Convenience store chain Circle K will be selling Innovative Beverage Group Holdings' extreme relaxation beverage, drank, at its stores in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Florida panhandle.
Circle K is one of North America's most popular and successful convenience store operators, with more than 3,000 Circle K stores across the United States and more than 4,000 international locations, according to Innovative Beverage Group.
Launched in select markets in early 2008, drank is billed as the antithesis to energy drinks. The lightly carbonated, grape-flavored beverage is formulated with natural calming agents including melatonin, rose hips and valerian root. It is sold in signature, purple, 16-ounce cans bearing the slogan "slow your roll," and is available in convenience and grocery outlets in a growing number of regions throughout the U.S.
"Having been featured in scores of magazines and newspapers, as well as on the 'Tonight Show with Conan O'Brian' and 'Good Morning America,' drank's popularity continues to grow, making it essential to work with major retail chains like Circle K to ensure that our fans can easily locate drank," Peter Bianchi, Innovative Beverage Group's CEO and the creator of drank, said in a released statement. "As such, securing shelf space at Circle K has been a top priority for our roll-out strategy and an agreement that we are proud to announce to our fans throughout the south."
Innovative Beverage Group said it is also currently working to add additional proprietary products to its line that will complement drank and provide consumers with an array of new and unique concepts in the New Age beverage category.
