Circle K Launches New Wireless Program
PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Circle K Stores Inc. launched its new Talk-and-Go Mobile Pay-as-you-go Wireless Phone across the United States.
Offered through more than 2,100 Circle K Store locations, the new Talk-and-Go Mobile Pay-as-you-go Wireless Phone provides consumers the benefits of wireless calling without having to sign a contract or deal with the hassles of setting up a new account, credit checks and paying for unused minutes.
"The Talk-and-Go Mobile program was developed with the needs of today's budget-conscious consumer in mind who is seeking an easy to understand wireless program," noted David O'Toole, manager of Telecom services for Circle K. "Pay-as-you-go wireless phones have become an increasingly popular choice for consumers because they offer all of the same benefits of contract programs, without the contracts or monthly bills. You only pay for what you use."
"We believe Talk-and-Go Mobile will also be a favorite choice for parents because it helps them control how much their children can spend," O'Toole said.
Talk-and-Go Mobile offers a Nokia phone, with a pre-assigned local telephone number that is ready to use immediately out of the box. They include all the features today's consumer wants: nationwide long distance, voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, three-way calling, text and instant messaging, and more.
Customers are able to manage their accounts easily with a bilingual, automated customer-care system in Spanish and English. Designed to be customer-friendly and easily accessible, customer services include automatic balance notification and the ability to easily add airtime from the mobile phone. Additionally bilingual phone instruction manuals and program collateral ensure the program is easily understood by today's diverse consumers. Recognizing that many Circle K customers need to stay in touch with family and friends in other countries, the program also offers cost-effective international calling to more than 200 countries with competitive pricing compared to most prepaid wireless services.
Air time for the new Talk-and-Go Mobile program is just 20 cents per minute, with nationwide coverage. Refill pins are available in denominations of $25, $50, $75 or $100 at all participating Circle K stores in the United States. All Talk-and-Go Mobile customers will receive the same low rate per minute and 120 days airtime-expiration balance no matter what denomination they buy. If accounts are refilled within 120 days, customers carry their unused balance over.
The Circle K Talk-and-Go Mobile program is enabled by Ztar mobile, a mobile virtual network enabler.
"Circle K is nationally recognized for offering quality and convenience to its customers. Working closely with Circle K, we were able to devise a wireless program that is specifically tailored to the needs of their customers," said Mark Baehr, vice president of Ztar mobile.
"Talk-and-Go Mobile should be a great choice for Circle K customers as it is customized to fit their needs. With it, Circle K customers can actively manage costs in real time, refill airtime at their Circle K stores, economically procure service and forbear long-term commitments," Baehr said.
