CITGO Giving Away 'Good Stuff' in Four Cities

HOUSTON -- CITGO Petroleum Corp. is giving away $34,000 in gift cards to customers who visit nearly 500 branded gas stations in San Antonio; Atlanta; Tampa, Fla.; and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa., as part of the CITGO Good Stuff Giveaway.

The promotion, which is running now through Nov. 10, will give away 10 $100 CITGO gift cards weekly in each city, which equals a total of 240 instant winners. All entrants will also automatically be entered into a random drawing for one grand prize in each city: a year's supply of gasoline in the form of $2,500 in CITGO gift cards.

"We are always looking for ways to help our marketers and retailers increase traffic to their CITGO-branded locations, and the Good Stuff Giveaway is a great way to bring in more customers," said Gustavo Velasquez, vice president of supply and marketing for CITGO. "Additionally, it's another creative way to support these independent owners and help their local businesses thrive."

To be eligible for the giveaway, customers must visit their participating local CITGO station and scan a QR code, or send a text with a keyword that can be found on point-of-purchase materials.

Houston-based CITGO is owned by PDV America Inc., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., the national oil company of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
