Clark's Card Is Fee-Free
NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Clark Brands LLC waived fees for Clark retailers and dealers when accepting the Clark Platinum MasterCard through the end of 2005. Since September and through the end of 2005, fees on Clark Platinum MasterCard transactions will be 0 percent for transactions under $250. Transactions over $250 will carry the standard 1.35 percent fee with no transaction charge. Clark Brands plans to review the fee at the end of this year.
"We are waiving the fee on the Clark Platinum MasterCard to provide Clark licensees and their dealers with relief from credit-card fees," said Karl Goodhouse, president of Clark Brands.
The Clark Platinum MasterCard features rebates on everything customers purchase at Clark Stores -- 8 percent during the first 60 days of activation and 4 percent thereafter. Customers also earn 1 percent on purchases made everywhere else.
