Coca-Cola Launches Dual Energy Drink in the U.K.

ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola Enterprises has launched Powerade Energy, a new 'dual energy' drink to be sold in the U.K., the company announced.

The company stated that Powerade Energy combines 'stimulate' energy with 'revive' energy in order to deliver sustained performance energy.

According to Stuart Agates, Coca-Cola's head of energy, the drink is meant for everyday consumers instead of the extreme sports demographic. It is currently available in sparkling berry and sparkling orange flavors.
