The company's SuperAmerica stores in Wisconsin and Minnesota were among the assets included in the sale.

Marathon Oil Corp. entered into agreements last month with an investment group to sell the majority of its Minnesota downstream assets, including 166 company-owned and -operated SuperAmerica convenience stores, SuperAmerica Franchising LLC and SuperMom's Bakery, a baked goods supply operation.

Deal includes company-owned and -operated locations, along with franchisor relationship to an additional 67 locations in and around Minnesota.
