Couche-Tard Founder Inducted Into Canadian Business Hall of Fame
TORONTO — The Canadian Business Hall of Fame included Alimentation Couche-Tard founder Alain Bouchard.
Bouchard became a member of the hall's 39th class of inductees on Nov. 8, reported the Business News Network.
Bouchard entered the convenience store business with the company's first location in 1980. He served as President and CEO until September 2014, when he became executive chairman.
Other inductees included OpenText Chairman Thomas Jenkins, Paramount Resources Executive Chairman Clay Riddell and ATCO CEO Nancy Southern.
The four inductees will be formally welcomed to the Hall of Fame during the official ceremony and dinner on May 18 in Toronto.
