Crown Central Expands Agreement with ADS
Crown Central Petroleum Corp. signed a four-year agreement with Alliance Data Systems Corp. (ADS) to provide transaction processing and bankcard settlement services for Crown's 324 East Coast convenience stores.
The agreement is an important one for Crown because it would allow the convenience store and petroleum marketer to develop a proprietary loyalty program.
Expanded services for Crown will include the launch of new loyalty and stored-value gift card programs designed to enhance consumer relationships and reward Crown customers based on purchase behavior.
"Over the last 10 years of our relationship, we've been impressed with Alliance Data's ability to provide products and services that have helped Crown streamline network processes while also offering programs that build customer satisfaction and loyalty," said Paul Ebner, vice president of Crown Central Petroleum.
